Martin Ebert

Martin’s career commenced with a PhD in radiotherapy physics at the University of Adelaide. After 10 years as a clinical physicist, including managing physics services at the Calvary Mater Newcastle, Martin became a full-time researcher at the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and University of Western Australia in Perth. Martin’s research focuses on deriving evidence for the efficacy and toxicity of radiotherapy and using that information for optimising treatment. This includes the use of models relating treatment to outcome particularly for tumour response, incorporating the role of tumour microenvironment, non-local and systemic effects.
