The Engineering and Physical Sciences in Medicine Conference 2026 is committed to provide a diverse, equitable, inclusive and respectful conference environment. The Committee will develop a program that includes speakers and chairs from diverse backgrounds and will work to provide and foster a safe conference experience for all attendees, speakers, chairs, vendors and staff. We support the work of the ACPSEM in developing a diversity, equity and inclusivity working group. Attendees of the Conference are expected to treat everyone in a respectful and inclusive manner. Attendees of the conference, speakers, chairs, vendors, conference staff and chairs of sessions will be expected to adhere to a code of conduct outlined below. 

• All interactions throughout the conference will be respectful and all questions and feedback provided during sessions will be responded to fairly and equitably.
• The utmost care will be taken by chairs to ensure all speakers are welcomed and presented using their preferred titles and names.
• Chairs will be given information on where attendees can go to provide feedback on the conference so this information can be readily shared with attendees.
• Harassment of any form is not tolerated and any observation of harassment throughout the conference should be reported to the conference committee immediately.

Attendees will be provided with an opportunity to give feedback to the conference organisers following the event via a survey.
